The position:
We are looking for a Full Stack Team Leader who is both an expert in software engineering and a leader at heart. Your team will design and implement Trigo’s internal and external web/mobile applications and APIs. The team deals with a large amount of data, and analyzes it for BI insights. A day in the life:
- Lead a team of extremely talented Full Stack engineers, experts in Backend and Frontend
- Guide and mentor your team to design, implement, test and deploy web/mobile applications, with an emphasis on scalability, performance and security
- Participate in the development of an enterprise-grade, highly scalable and robust cloud-based microservices architecture
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders, including product, operations and infosec
You bring to the table:
- At least 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer
- At least 3 years of experience in leading engineering teams through empowerment, creating engagement, and bringing results
- Experience in backend development: NodeJS, TypeScript, Python
- Experience in frontend development: ReactJS, Angular, VueJS
- Experience in additional languages, such as: C++, Go, Rust, .Net, Java
- Experience in writing design documents, creating programs/plans and collaborating with the team
- Experience in production cloud-based environments
- Worked with CI/CD methodologies - strong understanding of microservice architecture and hands-on experience in developing and deploying microservices
Nice to have:
- BSc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field
- Experience with BI frameworks, Big Data technologies
- Experience with event-based and message-driven distributed systems in scale
