Description
Who We Are?
The 4M story is one you likely haven’t heard before. We're on a mission to create a global map of the subsurface - doing for the world below ground what Google Maps did for the world above. Achieving this vision requires cutting-edge products and technology, which come to life through strong, collaborative teams of talented people who thrive on innovation and tackling complex challenges.
The Opportunity
As the AI Revenue Operations Engineer, you will serve as the AI nerve center for 4M’s entire go-to-market organization. Reporting directly to the CRO, you will be responsible for identifying, deploying, and scaling the most impactful AI capabilities across every corner of the revenue team — from the way we research prospects and run pipeline reviews to how leaders communicate strategy and reps execute in the field. This is not a support role. You will shape how 4M competes in an AI-first world by staying on the cutting edge of what’s possible, translating that into practical capabilities the team can use today, and building the systems that make AI an enduring competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy & GTM Innovation
- Own 4M’s GTM AI roadmap, continuously scanning the AI landscape to identify emerging tools, models, and workflows that can create an unfair advantage for the revenue team.
- Serve as the organization’s primary expert on frontier AI capabilities, with deep hands-on fluency in large language models (especially Claude), agentic workflows, and AI-native sales and marketing tooling.
- Define the architecture for how AI integrates across the GTM stack, from CRM enrichment and forecasting to outreach automation, content generation, and deal intelligence.
- Build proof-of-concepts quickly, evaluate real-world impact rigorously, and scale what works across the full team.
Leader & Team Enablement
- Act as a hands-on AI coach and enablement partner for CRO and GTM leadership - ensuring leaders are equipped with AI-powered workflows, decision-support tools, and real-time intelligence to lead more effectively.
- Design and deliver enablement programs that build genuine AI fluency across the GTM team, driving measurable adoption and behavior change at every level — not just awareness.
- Create AI-powered templates, playbooks, and automation that reduce friction in high-volume workflows: account research, outreach personalization, pipeline preparation, QBR storytelling, and more.
- Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success leadership to embed AI into their day-to-day rhythms, so that using AI becomes the default, not the exception.
- Run regular lunch-and-learns, working sessions, and one-on-ones to surface what’s working, unblock adoption, and introduce new capabilities as they emerge.
AI-Powered Revenue Operations
- Own the GTM tech stack with an AI-first lens - evaluating, implementing, and continuously optimizing tools across sales automation, forecasting, CRM enrichment, competitive intelligence, and customer lifecycle management.
- Build and maintain AI-augmented reporting infrastructure that gives leadership real-time visibility into pipeline health, conversion trends, and GTM performance - surfacing insights automatically rather than requiring manual analysis.
- Develop AI-assisted forecasting and territory planning processes that make revenue predictions faster, more accurate, and more actionable.
- Maintain data integrity across CRM and GTM systems, establishing governance standards that ensure AI outputs are trustworthy and decision-grade.
- Continuously identify manual, repetitive GTM workflows and replace them with intelligent automation — freeing the team to focus on high-judgment, high-value work.
CRO Partnership & Strategic Execution
- Serve as a trusted execution partner to the CRO - leveraging AI to dramatically accelerate the preparation of board materials, pipeline reviews, QBRs, and executive briefings.
- Use AI tools to synthesize signals from across the business - win/loss data, customer feedback, market trends, competitive moves - into crisp strategic recommendations.
- Manage cross-functional GTM initiatives from inception through execution, using AI-powered project management, communication, and tracking to move faster with fewer bottlenecks.
- Help the CRO stay on the cutting edge by serving as an internal resource on what’s new in AI, translating developments in the AI space into strategic implications for 4M.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in GTM operations, revenue strategy, or sales enablement within a high-growth B2B technology company - with a clear and demonstrable focus on AI adoption and innovation.
- Deep, hands-on expertise with AI tools in a GTM context — including proficiency with Claude (Anthropic) for account research, proposal development, competitive analysis, content generation, and workflow automation; experience with other frontier LLMs and AI-native GTM platforms is strongly preferred.
- A proven track record of enabling GTM teams on new AI tools and workflows, driving measurable adoption and lasting behavior change - not just rolling out software, but changing how people work.
- Genuine curiosity about and enthusiasm for the AI landscape - you follow model releases, read the research, experiment relentlessly, and bring what you learn back to the team.
- Strong ability to translate complex AI capabilities into practical, accessible workflows that non-technical GTM professionals can use confidently and consistently.
- Experience designing and building agentic AI workflows, prompt libraries, or custom AI integrations within CRM or GTM systems is a significant plus.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), sales engagement tools, and analytics platforms; comfort with APIs and no-code/low-code automation tools.
- Exceptional communication skills - able to influence senior stakeholders, run engaging enablement sessions, and translate AI concepts clearly for audiences at every level.
- A bias toward action: you build fast, test quickly, learn from results, and iterate without waiting for perfect conditions.
