About the Role

Buildots is seeking a detail-oriented and impact-driven Shift Manager to join our DataOps division. This role is central to orchestrating the execution and continuity of our video analysis process. As a Shift Manager, you will serve as a real-time operational anchor—responsible for the strategic coordination of resources, mitigation of executional risks, and safeguarding of delivery SLAs across a complex and dynamic data environment.

You will interface with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including project management, QA, engineering, and offshore workforces, ensuring alignment between operational flows and business imperatives. Your ability to anticipate constraints, prioritize at scale, and maintain operational resilience will directly influence the efficiency and scalability of our data operations ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Shift Execution & Operational Oversight

• Lead and manage shift activity using internal tools and dashboards to ensure smooth execution, timely delivery, and risk mitigation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for real-time operational decisions and escalations.

SLA & Throughput Management

• Ensure adherence to SLAs, monitor analysis progress, and coordinate interventions when deviations occur.
• Drive responsiveness across high-priority and high-volume projects.

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Align resources across global teams and time zones, optimizing capacity against shifting operational demands.
• Coordinate with vendors, delivery stakeholders, and quality control teams to resolve bottlenecks and ensure flow continuity.

Issue Handling & Prioritization

• Manage backlogs, prioritize tasks based on urgency and capacity, and address exceptions or disruptions in real time while meeting KPIs.

Communication & Documentation

• Maintain structured updates and be a proactive communicator.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements and operational knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• A high level of English proficiency (both written and verbal) – must
• Creative thinking
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to develop and deliver training programs and support materials
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement effective solutions
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
