Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing, ideally within cybersecurity and/or endpoint management, security operations, vulnerability management, or adjacent domains. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working at early-stage startups (Series A/B)
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into value-based messaging that resonates with both business and technical audiences
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to navigate changing priorities effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication and a creative mindset
- Highly proactive, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Skilled collaborator with experience driving cross-functional initiatives and working on high-visibility projects
- Candidates must reside in the continental United States
Responsibilities
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature updates, driving awareness and adoption
- Market Research & Insights: Conduct in-depth research to understand customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape, providing valuable insights to shape product positioning
- Targeting & Segmentation: Identify and analyze key market segments and target personas, ensuring all marketing efforts align with our core audiences
- Messaging & Positioning: Develop clear and compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiate CardinalOps in the market
- Product Packaging & Pricing: Own the strategy and initiatives for product packaging and pricing to best fit our target audience while maximizing company revenue
- Content Development: Create and maintain high-quality content, including datasheets, whitepapers, case studies, presentations, and website copy, that effectively communicates product value
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, and Engineering to ensure seamless alignment on product strategy and execution
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with sales to ensure value proposition, assets, and product training are in place
- Market and Competitive Intelligence: Be the expert on target buyers, market trends, and competitive offerings, using this knowledge to drive differentiation and influence planning
- Thought Leadership: Serve as an evangelist through blogging, social media, and presentations/speaking engagements
- Analyst Relations: Manage relationships with industry analysts (Gartner, etc.) to educate them on CardinalOps and stay in touch with the latest industry trends and research
