Job Description
As an A&R at Duetti, you will play a key role in executing Duetti's goal to provide new and transparent financing options for artists. You will engage with artists and their teams, explain how Duetti can enable them to flexibly sell a piece of their catalog in exchange for a considerable cash buyout, and partner with the Sourcing, Underwriting, Legal and Management teams to close deals.
Sitting within Duetti’s Sourcing team, you will focus on growing and scaling lead generation and deals specifically within the Latin music market, both in the US and internationally. You will be at the intersection of music, operations, and data analytics, directly contributing to Duetti’s goal of democratizing music catalog monetization.

You Will:

  • Identify and engage with Latin music artists who are a strong fit for Duetti’s financial solutions, building trust and educating them on the value of catalog monetization
  • Oversee all points of the sales cycle, including prospecting, negotiating, onboarding, and close
  • Create and execute strategic plans on how to generate new leads and penetrate the Latin market across key regions
  • Develop strong relationships with artists, managers, producers, labels, and other key industry players to establish Duetti as a trusted financial partner
  • Attend relevant industry events, showcases, and conferences in Miami and other key Latin music hubs, representing Duetti and expanding our artist network
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of deals and seamless integration
  • Leverage data analytics to identify market trends, deal opportunities, and improve efficiency across the sales cycle
  • Stay updated with Latin music industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies in the music

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in an artist-facing role at a management company, record label, DSP, publishing company, or music finance company with a strong focus on the Latin music market
  • Deep passion for Latin music across genres, and a strong understanding of the cultural and business landscape
  • Bilingual proficiency (English & Spanish)
  • Established industry network within Latin music, with connections to artists, managers, labels, and other stakeholders
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close deals, with an entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple deals simultaneously in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Ability to lead, collaborate and work autonomously in a dynamic start-up team environment with a positive can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across internal and external teams
