About the Role
The goal of this role is to ensure every artist partner feels genuinely supported - starting at signing and continuing throughout the full life of their partnership with Duetti.
We're looking for an Artist Partner Engagement Manager to join our Marketing team. This role is responsible for building the systems and relationships that help us show up for artists in a meaningful way - not just when a deal is signed, but over the long arc of their careers.
You sit at the intersection of relationship management, cultural intelligence, and strategic process. You also understand how artists think, what they care about, and how trust is earned in the music world.
What You'll Do:
Own the onboarding experience for newly signed artist partners, ensuring a seamless and intentional transition from deal close to active relationship
Own and develop long-term relationship strategies for priority artist partners, thinking in timelines of 12–24 months rather than immediate opportunities
Identify the right moments to engage - upon signing, releases, tours, life moments, career transitions, Duetti milestones - and help the team show up with intention and relevance
Build and maintain relationship maps for key contacts, including managers, lawyers, producers, and other key members of an artist's extended team
Represent the company in select artist-facing settings, building credibility and trust directly with artists and their circles
Build and maintain a clear system for tracking relationship activity, touchpoints, and next steps across all priority accounts
Develop playbooks and cadences for different stages of the relationship lifecycle
Partner with sales ops to keep our CRM current and accurate so it functions as a real time view of relationship health that the full team can rely on and actively reference
Report on relationship health and development to marketing and A&R leadership regularly
Meet with artist partners to help them get acquainted with Duetti, manage deliverables, and work on ongoing projects and campaigns with them
What We're Looking For:
4–7 years of experience in the music industry in a role that required both relationship building and organizational discipline — artist management, label marketing, A&R coordination, artist partnerships, or similar
Deep cultural fluency with artists - you understand their world, their language, and what it takes to earn their trust
Strong instincts for process and systems - you build structures that actually get used because they make people's work better
A natural collaborator who can work across teams (Marketing, A&R, Creative) without needing to own every outcome
Comfortable with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and able to use data to track and communicate relationship health over time
Excellent written and verbal communication - you can craft an outreach message that doesn't sound like one
Low ego, high standards - equally comfortable behind the scenes and in the room
Experience on the artist or management side (ie. former artist manager)
Existing relationships within the independent or major label ecosystem
Experience building a relationship management process from the ground up
Nice to Have:
Why This Role:
This is a new function, which means real ownership over how it's shaped and built. You'll work closely with both Marketing and A&R leadership, with direct influence on how we grow and sustain relationships with artists over time. If you believe that the best deals start with genuine relationships - and you want to help a team actually live that out - this is the role.
