Optical Lab Technician (Training)

Responsibilities:

GlassesUSA.com is looking for an optical lab technician with high volume manufacturing or fitting experience to join our growing team. As an trainee, you will be responsible for learning the inspection, repair, and quality production of optical lenses and frames. This role requires an individual with excellent hand-eye coordination, great attention to detail, strong hand dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment. You will be responsible for measuring the prescription power of eyewear, making necessary repairs or adjustments to eyewear, lens and frame assembly, cleaning, and providing Q&A for final inspection before shipment.

Qualifications:

• High school GED
• Previous experience in the optical field or optical assembly
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Ability to work with hands for long periods of time

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• 8 Hour Shifts (Day Shift or Night Shift)
• Overtime and weekends may be required

Pay:

$18 an hour
