In this hybrid role, you will play a key part in our retention and growth initiatives, owning and leading critical areas such as win-back strategies, post-purchase engagement, replenishment reminders, and customer reactivation. You’ll also be responsible for orchestrating and executing multi-channel retention campaigns through email, SMS, push notifications, and more to engage and convert customers. As the go-to person for retention initiatives, you will work cross-functionally to drive business impact and customer loyalty.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1+ years of experience in online marketing (eCommerce preferred), including CRM, lifecycle, performance, or content marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing platforms and automation tools, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Klaviyo, Braze, HubSpot, or Marketo – or a strong willingness to learn.
  • A highly motivated, proactive mindset – this is the most important part. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, pushes boundaries, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for customer engagement and retention, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Creative and analytical skills to develop compelling marketing campaigns, test strategies, and optimize performance.
  • Strong storytelling, copywriting, and communication skills in English.
  • HTML/CSS proficiency for email customization (a plus).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own, develop, and lead key retention marketing initiatives, becoming the company’s expert in win-back strategies, post-purchase engagement, replenishment reminders, and customer reactivation.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel retention campaigns (email, SMS, push notifications, etc.), ensuring the right message reaches the right customer at the right time.
  • Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT to refine automation, enhance customer journeys, and personalize messaging.
  • Conduct customer segmentation based on demographics, behavior, and purchase history to deliver targeted communications.
  • Craft compelling product messaging, positioning, and storytelling that highlight the value of our offerings.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and design teams to align automation efforts with business objectives.
  • Optimize automated email workflows, lifecycle campaigns, and customer journey touchpoints using marketing automation platforms.
  • Lead A/B testing and performance analysis, continuously improving key metrics like deliverability, open rates, and conversions.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, customer insights, and industry benchmarks to refine marketing strategies.
  • Provide data-driven insights and performance reports, offering recommendations for ongoing optimization.
