We are looking for a strong, hands-on, and highly analytical Director of Finance to lead core accounting and finance operations in a fast-paced, high-scale e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and oversee the company’s accounting and finance operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, excellence, and timely delivery.
  • Ensure all consolidated financial statements are prepared in accordance with US-GAAP and SEC guidelines, ensuring IPO-readiness all time.
  • Use data analysis to strategically forecast financial trends.
  • Provide an analytical overview of monthly P&L and BS.
  • Manage and mentor the Controllers team, providing close professional guidance, support, and development
  • Oversee Israeli and U.S. tax reporting and compliance
  • Manage all Sales Tax matters, including filings, audits, and ongoing compliance requirements
  • Oversee federal and state tax reporting requirements in the U.S.
  • Support and coordinate relationships with external auditors and advisors
  • Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Legal, HR, Product & Operation to streamline workflows.
  • Lead all payroll-related processes and support payroll budgeting and workforce planning
  • Manage commission calculations and related financial processes
  • Partner cross-functionally with business stakeholders to drive execution and improve financial processes
  • Proactively support and drive ad-hoc financial projects and strategic initiatives as needed

Requirements:

  • 9 + years of experience in finance, with at least 3+ years in managing teams.
  • CPA from a big-4 firm.
  • Business partner with commercial insights and overview.
  • Leading skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, consolidations, and close processes
  • Extensive experience with U.S. and Israeli tax compliance
  • Deep knowledge of Sales Tax and U.S. state and federal reporting requirements
  • Experience in high-scale e-commerce companies - strong advantage
  • Motivation and multi-tasking skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Team oriented and have confidence in dealing with people at all levels within the organization.
  • Responsible and deadline oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to lead complex processes from conception to completion with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and written.
  • Strong accounting knowledge of US GAAP - Must.
  • Excellent English level (Written & Spoken) - Must.
  • Excellent Excel skills - Must.
  • Experienced in Inventory closing process – An advantage.
