About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on, tech-savvy Retention & Marketing Automation Specialist with proven experience in a
high-volume B2C marketing environment to join our CRM & Marketing team. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end execution of our email campaigns and automated journeys within
Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). You’ll sit at the intersection of marketing strategy, journey logic, and basic marketing-tech operations — taking campaigns from initial brief to launch and performance analysis.
If you know your way around SFMC (Content Builder, Journey Builder), have an eye for detail, basic HTML/CSS troubleshooting skills, a data-driven mindset, and love creating personalized customer experiences for B2C audiences — this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign & Journey Execution: Set up, test, and deploy high-volume B2C promotional, triggered, and lifecycle email campaigns using SFMC Content Builder and Journey Builder.
- Hands-On Setup (No-Code/Low-Code): Build email layouts using existing templates/blocks, configure styles (padding, margins, fonts, colors), adjust image paths, UTMs, links, and alt texts.
- Basic Technical & Logic Setup:
- Understand Data Extension structures and basic data logic for B2C segmentation.
- Implement basic personalization strings and set up dynamic content logic in briefs/blocks.
- Perform basic HTML/CSS tweaks to fix email rendering issues when needed.
- Automation Management: Define, schedule, and maintain campaign triggers, frequency rules, entry/exit criteria, and automated flows in Journey Builder & Automation Studio.
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Plan and execute A/B and multivariate tests (subject lines, content/CTAs, send-time optimization) to drive continuous channel improvement.
- Reporting, Analytics & KPIs: Monitor, track, and analyze key campaign performance metrics (Open Rate, CTR, Conversion Rate, Unsubscribes, Deliverability). Provide actionable insights and reports against defined KPIs.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX Designers (Figma assets), Content Creators, Data/BI, and SFMC Developers (passing advanced SQL/AMPScript needs to Dev).
- Quality Assurance (QA): Perform thorough content, functional, and logical QA (links, UTMs, personalization, rendering across devices, and journey flows) before launch.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience as an Email Campaign Manager, CRM Specialist, or Marketing Automation Specialist in a B2C environment.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) — specifically Content Builder and Journey Builder (Must-have).
- Data-Driven Mindset: Strong understanding of email marketing KPIs, analytics, and experience running A/B tests to optimize performance.
- Technical Aptitude:
- Basic HTML & CSS knowledge for email troubleshooting/formatting.
- Good understanding of relational data structures (Data Extensions, primary keys).
- Familiarity with email deliverability best practices and web asset preparation (image optimization, naming conventions).
- Strong logical thinking with the ability to define business rules and customer journey flows.
- High attention to detail and a "QA-first" mindset.
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of AMPScript or SQL (reading/modifying simple scripts).
- Experience with SFMC Intelligence Reports / Analytics Builder.
- Experience working in an Agile / structured marketing workflow environment (e.g., Jira, Monday.com).
- SFMC Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification.
