To continue this incredible adventure, we are currently looking for a Head of Procurement to join our talented Finance team at our Berlin HQ (3 days per week).
As our Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for establishing and shaping the procurement function across the business, ensuring best-in-class sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, and cost optimisation. Although the primary focus of the role is indirect procurement, you will also collaborate with various teams across the business to share procurement best practices and contribute to overall commercial excellence. - Sourcing & Tendering: Drive end-to-end procurement activities including tendering, supplier evaluation, contract negotiations, and onboarding. Negotiate effectively with suppliers across the supply chain to secure competitive pricing, favourable terms, and value-added services. Ensure competitive sourcing across strategic and operational spend categories
- Supplier Management: Lead supplier relationship management, upholding high service and performance standards. Own ongoing tail management, identifying opportunities to consolidate the supplier base, mitigate risk, and maximise commercial leverage
- Contract Management & Compliance: Oversee contract management processes, including the use of OneTrust for contract lifecycle management. Ensure contracts are up-to-date, compliant, and accessible, working in close partnership with Legal and other internal stakeholders
- Governance & Risk Management: Ensure procurement practices are aligned with internal policies and legal requirements. Manage procurement risk proactively and promote ethical sourcing across all categories
- Technology & Reporting: Champion the use of current and other potential new procurement tools and platforms to enable process efficiency, spend transparency, and actionable reporting
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between procurement, cost centre owners, Legal, and the other functional teams to manage procurement workflows effectively, streamline approvals, and ensure consistency in supplier engagement and contract execution
- Team Development & Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing procurement team. Support career development and cultivate a collaborative and forward-thinking team culture
🤝 What you bring:
- A degree in Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in a senior procurement role, ideally within the retail, technology, or consumer electronics sector
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills with a demonstrated record of delivering cost efficiencies and commercial excellence
- Experience managing and influencing stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, tools, and best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking with analytical and problem-solving abilities
