The Legal Counsel will serve as an in-house counsel handling the company’s legal needs reporting directly to the company’s Senior Legal Counsel. This role will primarily focus on managing the company’s (and its subsidiary's) legal and regulatory compliance on a day-to-day basis.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a global company, or a leading law firm, specializing in high-tech, commercial, labor law, data privacy (GDPR and CCPA), and regulatory matters. The Legal Counsel will collaborate closely with and support key departments such as Finance, Sales and Customer Experience, Marketing, R&D, and Product among others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial and software agreements (including NDAs, partnerships, and marketing agreements) with business partners, vendors, and customers.
• Provide legal guidance on all aspects of the company’s business, including reviewing products and features, drafting terms of use, and establishing workflows with various teams.
• Support the company’s departments (both local and global) and subsidiaries on an ongoing basis.
• Provide legal advice and Support the HR and Finance teams with respect to the company’s incentive plans.
• Develop and oversee compliance procedures.
• Lead and manage internal legal projects.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of post-internship experience as a Legal Counsel, preferably from a high-tech company or as a tech lawyer in a major law firm.
• Experience in tech-related commercial agreements and software licensing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish relationships across the organization and manage multiple projects independently.
• Excellent analytical, business, negotiation, and communication skills - Ability to absorb complex legal issues and communicate these issues in a simple and understandable manner.
• Experience with the fintech and payments world, including with financial-related matters - Advantage.
• Experience with AI regulation and vendors - Advantage.
• Proficient in English at a native level (both speaking and drafting).
• LLB degree and Israel or US Bar credentials.
