We are looking for a licensed real estate individual to act as our company’s local point of contact, overseeing our operation in the Detroit Michigan area. A strong understanding of real estate regulations and compliance in this market is a must in order to support the execution of our property management activities.

This position is a remote position and is based in the Detroit Metro area.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the company’s designated point of contact for the Metro Detroit Area
• Experience with Michigan Real Estate, maintenance and rental code compliance
• Having a strong relationship with city municipalities within the greater Detroit Area
• Ensure timely and accurate certifications, recertifications, and all compliance related processes
• Familiarity with Section 8, Blight Tickets, and legal administrative processes
• Facilitate and attend property inspections
• Attend court hearings in the Greater Detroit Market
  • Respond to and submit required documents to court
  • File all required paperwork within the region
• Act as a registered agent for the region
• Escalate any issues that may arise

Requirements:

• 5 + years in real estate/property management
• Knowledge of common rental laws and requirements in Detroit and surrounding cities
• Bachelors degree in business administration or a related field
• Active licensed Michigan real estate agent
• Must be detail oriented and organized
  
• Must have an active MI Drivers License and the ability to pass a background check
• This role requires driving within 50 miles of the Detroit Metro area
