About Immunai

Immunai is a data & engineering-first platform company dedicated to transforming therapeutic decision-making, from drug discovery to clinical trials. Leveraging our vast clinico-immune database alongside advanced machine learning algorithms, we map the immune system with unmatched scale and detail. This empowers us to offer end-to-end solutions to our pharma partners - from data generation to therapeutic innovation to clinical trial optimization. In an era where AI and drug development are converging, we strive to accelerate the delivery of breakthrough medicines to patients, ensuring a healthier future for all.

About the role:

You will play a pivotal role in our deep analytics group that is instrumental in building and refining our core single-cell representation models. These models are designed to synthesize extensive molecular data and metadata, linking therapies, indications, data modalities, and biological systems to drug trial outcomes. You will work with and mentor a multidisciplinary team of machine learning engineers, computational biologists, and immunologists whose purpose will be to build a machinery that helps with the biological interpretation of our models to produce robust biological insights.

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel

What will you do?

  • Research, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art capabilities to interpret our representation models based on single-cell data from immunological datasets
  • Develop and own scalable production of the interpretation pipeline
  • Bring in latest advancements in single-cell omics and machine learning to create innovative products
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across software engineering, computational biology, and immunology to maximize the impact of your products
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven track-record in single cell genomics is a must
  • Ph.D. in computer science, bioengineering, computational biology, or related discipline with 2 - 4 years of relevant postdoc or industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience with interpreting large amounts of biological data, ideally through custom deep learning models that solve biological problems
  • Strong coding & technical abilities in Python or R
  • Evidence of engagement with open source projects and community
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired personality:

  • You want to make an impact on humankind
  • You prioritize “We” over “I”
  • You enjoy getting things done and striving for excellence
  • You collaborate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • You have a growth mindset
  • You are candid, authentic, and transparent
