We are looking for an Operations Assistant to join us at Komodo Claims (US), powered by INSHUR! Working onsite at our Dallas office 5 days a week, supported and reporting to the Head of Claims, you'll be joining a friendly claims team of 50 who believe in delivering great customer service at scale.

What you'll do

Join us as an Operations Assistant and make a real impact! You'll be responsible for ensuring all mail communications are swiftly and accurately uploaded to our claims management software, enabling our claims specialists to deliver excellent service to our customers. This role is your chance to champion our high standards and values, and gives career-minded individuals the option to build a career in a fast-growing company.

Some of the things you’ll be doing;

  • Mail Processing: Opening and scanning large volumes of mail communications.
  • AI-Assisted Filing: Utilizing AI tools to identify and correctly file scanned documents into the appropriate claims files.
  • Data Entry: Accurately entering information from scanned documents into the claims management system.
  • Claims Team Support: Ensuring mail communications are uploaded in a timely manner for action by claims specialists.
  • Payment Support: Assisting with the processing of incoming payments and the issuance of outbound claim payments
  • Operational Support: Supporting day-to-day back office claims processes to improve efficiency.
  • Administrative Support: Assisting with other general office administration tasks as needed.
  • Standards Adherence: Upholding wider operational standards and contributing to a well-organized claims process.

We'd love to hear from you if you have these essentials to thrive in the role;

  • Data Entry Experience: Proven experience working in a role that involved significant data entry, such as secretarial, administrative, or clerical office positions.
  • Technical/Computer Literacy: Demonstrated technical and computer literacy, preferably with experience using macOS (MACs) and Google Suite.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working as a reliable team member, contributing positively to team goals and supporting colleagues.

What to expect from the process:

Screen & Intro: 30-45 minute video call with the Talent Team to discuss the role and your experience.

First Interview: 60-minute video call with the Head of Claims and People Partner to delve into the role, including technical questions, company fit and an opportunity for you to ask questions.

Our budget for this role is $40,000 base salary.
