Position Overview

As the Head of Strategy - New Business Development, you'll play a pivotal role in defining our path forward. You'll work directly with our CEO and the senior leadership team to identify new business opportunities, craft strategies to harness them, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to bring your visions to life. Your insights will directly impact the trajectory of our growth, positioning Insurify at the forefront of the industry.

How you will make an impact

  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of new business opportunities, including but not limited to partnerships, acquisitions, and new market entries.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases and strategic plans for proposed opportunities, ensuring alignment with Insurify's overall mission and goals.
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams to execute on strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to inform strategy development.
  • Monitor and report on the success of new initiatives, iterating and refining our approach as necessary.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the team to bring forward fresh ideas and perspectives.

Who you are

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated track record of identifying and executing on strategic new business opportunities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. Engineering or economics education is preferred.
