We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team maternity cover basis for approx. 18 months. In this role, you will work closely with senior management to align human resources initiatives with organizational goals. You will provide expert guidance on talent management, organizational design, employee relations, and workforce planning while ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

How you will make an impact
- Work directly with and act as a trusted advisor to Sofia site-lead and the global People team, understanding business goals and translating them into effective HR strategies.
- Own the implementation of global and local best practices in HR: e.g. employee data management, integrity and accuracy; reporting and data monitoring; workflow optimisation and automation, document administration
- Lead complex employee relations cases, providing counsel on performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions while ensuring legal compliance
- Drive initiatives for talent acquisition, retention, and development, including succession planning and leadership development programs
- Use HR analytics to provide insights into workforce trends and drive evidence-based decision-making.
- Support leaders in developing their management and leadership capabilities.
- Align global company policies to the local market and legislation
- Align monthly payroll input with accounting
- Manage employee onboarding and full life-cycle: communication, documents, right to work, benefit enrollments, initial HR onboarding training
- Work closely with various internal stackeholders and vendors
- Administration and compliance management
- Organise company events and ensure employees are cared for
- Participate in employer brand management initiatives and recruitment efforts if needed
What you need to succeed
- 6+ years of experience in general HR, payroll management and administration
- Experience in all employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, general admin, H&S, benefits, payroll, etc)
- Solid knowledge in Bulgarian labor law
- Experience in using HRIS (we use BambooHR)
- Experience of working in a global team
- Great attention to detail
- Confidentiality and sensitive data management
- Team player with a “can-do” attitude and excellent communication skills
- Proficient written and verbal use of English language
