Who we are

Lightricks is a pioneer in innovative technology that bridges the gap between imagination and creation. We are an AI-first company with a mission to build innovative tools for photo and video creation. Our photo and video editing apps – Facetune, Videoleap, and Photoleap – offer endless possibilities and inspiration, while our brand platform, Popular Pays, offers brands the opportunity to scale their marketing efforts by partnering with creators. Our most recent product, LTX Studio, is an all-in-one AI digital storytelling platform that gives users complete control over their creations. We aim to enable both content creators and brands to produce engaging, top-performing content, based on both groundbreaking computational graphic research and generative AI features.

Our UX Research team is passionate about getting actionable insights that help solve real problems for real people and incorporate empathy and user voice into product workflows. We do evaluative and generative research with a range of methodology, and have fun doing it.. We’re looking for a UX Researcher who is excited about doing lean, quality research while working with stakeholders to create magical, superior user experiences.

As a UX Researcher, you'll utilize your innate curiosity to create, execute, and analyze fascinating research projects -- and have the pleasure of seeing your insights incorporated into top-notch products. You’ll also have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with our world-class Design, Product, Marketing, and Data Science teams.

What you will be doing

  • Turn stakeholder priorities and questions into actionable research plans that are methodologically sound and lean enough to work within a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Conduct various generative and evaluative research studies, including surveys, interviews, diary studies, usability tests, ethnography, and more. This includes research planning, participant recruitment, execution of methods, analysis, and working with stakeholders throughout the research process.
  • Play a key role in analyzing research and turning it into actionable insights
  • Educate stakeholders in order to support research democratization efforts and enable elegant, purposeful cross-functional work.
  • Advocate for the incorporation of findings into our products through reporting, presenting, and working collaboratively with relevant stakeholders.

Your skills and experience

  • Required: 2-4 years experience in UX Research and/or Product Design
  • Native or near native level English (reading, writing, and speaking). Hebrew is an advantage but not required.
  • A good, demonstrated understanding of research methodology such as usability testing, qualitative interviewing, surveying, and more.
  • Natural curiosity and genuine interest in the field: the thought of spending your day gaining greater understanding of how people think and work excites you more than it does the general public.
  • Excellent, demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders at once. This includes relationship building, problem solving, and project management.
  • Great communication skills – written and verbal are a must. You know how to get users talking, how to write compelling reports, and everything in between.
