The Team & Role

The US HR site manager is responsible for supporting the business success of Lightricks US site by being fully dedicated to its people, their roles, and personal needs.

This role is responsible for managing end-to-end HR activities across the employee lifecycle, driving company processes and local HR initiatives, and ensuring alignment with global HR and HQ. The HR Site Manager will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring alignment with global HR policies and processes while adapting to local business and compliance needs.

The HR site manager will work closely with US Senior Leadership , Head of US Operations and Talent Acquisition partner, as well as additional senior managers on the sites. The HR site manager will also be partnering with HR Directors and global managers located remotely to support their employees in the US locally, ensuring seamless implementation of global HR initiatives.


What you will be doing

  • Own all HR activities and HR processes for the US site, including the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, performance management, retention, engagement, internal communications, and compliance.
  • Serve as the HR contact on the site, which requires leading strategic initiatives (such as embedding company culture, organizational design and team effectiveness), side by side with managing the day-2-day HR operation (such as attendance, benefits administration, payroll coordination).
  • Work closely with site leadership (Including VP level) and local managers to provide personal consulting and align HR activities with business goals and local needs.
  • Advise and support individual contributors in navigating HR processes, performance cycles, and personal development initiatives (local & global).
  • Implement global HR processes at the local level while also developing local initiatives and sharing feedback with headquarters.
  • Partnering with local G&A functions such as Operations and Payroll to provide the highest level of service to US employees and address all their operational needs.
  • Maintain up to date HR policies and employees handbook and ensure implementation and enforcement thereof.
  • Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local employment laws; advise on policy interpretation, employment contracts, and disciplinary matters.
  • Foster seamless communication between the US site and other global locations to maintain a consistent culture; Partner with global HRD/BPs to ensure consistency in execution of company-wide HR initiatives while addressing unique local and departmental needs.

Your skills and experience

  • 7+ years of HR site manager and / or Senior HRBP experience, preferably in fast-growing global tech organizations.
  • Proven track record in both strategic and operational HR site management/HRBP roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of US employment laws; experience with compliance in multi-state environments.
  • Experience supporting Sales or other go-to-market functions – an advantage.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategy to business objectives.
  • Skilled in HRIS platforms and confident in data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior business leaders as a trusted advisor on all HR-related matters, including providing personalized coaching to enhance leadership effectiveness.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly across all levels.
  • Experience in a global company headquartered outside the US.
  • Ability and willingness to travel periodically to our Chicago office as part of the role.
