Systems and Infrastructure Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced System and Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing and improving the complex and distributed system architectures, both ours and our clients. You’ll work closely with development teams, product deployment, and supporting our customers.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to understand and meet infrastructure requirements.
- Design, build, and configure development environments, including virtual machines and containerized applications.
- Develop and maintain detailed system documentation, including Standard Operating Environments (SOE).
- Transfer knowledge and best practices to our Professional Services (PS) teams.
- Manage version control systems and ensure the integrity of software releases.
- Provide second-tier support to external customers in Israel and worldwide.
- Develop strategies to improve platform deployment processes and system availability in Linux, Windows, and cloud environments.
What Will You Need to Have?
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Linux system administration.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure cloud, AWS).
- Strong knowledge of networking and security (Firewalls, Switches, VLANs).
- Robust problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent process management capabilities and ability to multitask effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to research and solve complex issues independently.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
Extra Great If You Have
- Experience with Windows system administration.
- Technical knowledge of big data environments.
- Experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher).
- Familiarity with backup products and strategies.
