What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer. A talented, creative, and ambitious person who would work with MDClone’s R&D, Development, QA, and System teams. The role involves developing automated deployment tools and the administration of on-prem & Cloud platforms.

Your daily responsibilities will be:

Developing tools to automate applications' deployment

Writing scripts in various languages, such as Python, and Linux (shell) to improve our monitoring, installation, and deployment capabilities

Collaborating with R&D, QA, and system teams, implementing CI/CD pipelines

Striving for and setting high professional development standards

Supporting and maintaining the existing production customers’ environments

Professional Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer

Experienced working with Kubernetes platforms such as Rancher / OpenShift or equivalent

Hands-on experience with Linux systems both on-premises and in cloud environments, including Azure and AWS.

Experience in automating production systems through the development of custom software tools using Python and Bash

Proficient in Ansible or equivalent tools for automating configuration management

Experienced with Git tools and CI/CD methodologies with Jenkins or equivalent

Strong experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing ECK/ELK, Postgresql, Redis, and Rabbitmq

Experienced working with Big Data platforms - an advantage

Architecture building capabilities - an advantage

Experience applying IaC practices with Terraform or equivalent - an advantage

Personal Skills:

Proven ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, iterative product-definition and development environment

Fast learner with an ability to pick up new ideas and approaches quickly

Readiness to learn new and old technologies

Has a passion for problem-solving and enjoys brainstorming on the ways of design and development
