About the opportunity

We are looking for a Graphic Designer - Student position to join our Creative Team in Hamburg. You will support the local design and strategy team to conceptualise, design and produce cutting edge designs for video, mobile and interactive display ad units using the Teads Studio to deliver our clients exceptional and innovative advertising solutions.
To be successful, you will have strong German native communication and multitasking skills and be able to work within a fast-paced, high pressure, team-oriented environment. You will be eager to work with the latest technologies and use your initiative to come up with unique designs and new ideas whilst ensuring best practice, usability, and accessibility.
What will you do?
- Create compelling, immersive interactive video & display ads for our clients, based on briefs outlined by the client.
- Design materials true to brand identity and style guidelines.
- Support local design & strategy team with building client presentations.
- Create custom solutions for client requirements.
- Work closely with members of all departments, primarily Sales and Ad Operations, to gather project specs and deployment procedures.
- Innovate and deliver new solutions for our ad type portfolio.
What will you bring to the team?
- 1+ years of experience in Graphic Design, preferably for Digital Media.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator in particular).
- Skills in video editing software - Premier / After Effects in addition to experience with Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Clear and effective written and spoken communication skills.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, time management and communicate transparently with internal and external teams.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Bonus points: Basic knowledge of web development - HTML/CSS/Javascript & 3D design skills.
