About the opportunity

Location: Hamburg/Düsseldorf

  • The Senior Agency Seller will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with advertising agencies, driving revenue growth, and expanding our market share within the agency landscape. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the agency ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What will you do?

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key contacts at advertising agencies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to agencies, understanding their business objectives and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Proactively identify and address client needs, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct regular meetings and presentations with agency partners to review performance, identify new opportunities, and strengthen partnerships.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed individual and team revenue targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with advertising agencies.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, operations) to develop tailored solutions and proposals for agencies.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regularly report on sales performance.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and agency market dynamics.
  • Provide insights and feedback to internal teams on market needs and potential product enhancements.
  • Contribute to the development of agency-specific sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Mentor and support junior sales team members, sharing best practices and industry knowledge.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless client service and project execution.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

What will you bring to the team?

Your skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in ad sales, with a significant portion focused on selling to advertising agencies.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex sales cycles and large accounts.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate effectively and close deals.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of the advertising agency landscape, digital marketing, and media.
  • Results-Oriented: Highly motivated and driven by achieving measurable results.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and develop creative solutions.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
