We are looking for an HR Director, People Services Israel to join an extremely fast-growing global Fintech business and who will lead People Services for Israel. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, multitasking, high-energy environment.

About The People Services team:
The People Services team is a newly-created global team that will provide centralized HR services, HR discipline, and HR infrastructure support (global & regional programs, and policies) that ensure an equitable and consistent experience for all employees. The team will support business functions as well as employees, and work closely with HRBP teams in providing the best HR experience based upon organizational strategy, wider organizational structure, and current business needs.
What you’ll be spending your time on:
- Partner with the Senior Director, Global People Services to design, develop, and implement the People Services operating model and strategy
o Establish new ways of working that enhance the employee journey.
o Streamline and establish global consistency across our practices, policies, processes, and procedures where possible, while balancing local needs. Ensure efficient collaboration and an equitable employee experience globally.
o Achieve greater HR focus on strategy, knowledge sharing, eliminating duplication of efforts, and improving the quality of HR services to employees and people managers globally.
o Bring appropriate focus on operational excellence, risk, and controls in the design of processes and solutions.
o Foster continuous improvement of HR solutions and ways to make HR more effective
o Leverage data and insights to inform our strategies. - Oversee and manage HR policies and local labor requirements for Israel
o Ensure compliance with labor laws, requirements, and regulations, always keeping abreast of the market & regulatory trends, and taking necessary actions to adhere to any changes.
o Formulate, maintain and implement local HR handbooks & policies.
o Review local HR policies & practices, identify issues/risks/opportunities, and drive the solutioning forward. Elevate opportunities for global consistency.
o Provide an expert level of HR consultation to leaders and employees as needs arise.
o Oversee audit and risk management needs. - Oversee local HR programs / projects / processes for Israel while collaborating with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
o Oversee employee lifecycle programs (onboarding, internal mobility, offboarding, etc.)
o Oversee local ER processes and documentation such as Leave of Absence, PIPs, Immigration, Involuntary termination, etc.
o Redesign processes associated with the onboarding and offboarding program, to ensure a positive employee experience for new joiners and employees who exit. Elevate opportunities for global consistency / leverage.
o Collaborate closely with the rest of the HR organization such as HRBPs, Total Rewards, Organizational Development, etc. to understand critical employee interactions and journeys, identifying moments that matter and developing solutions crafted to mitigate pain points and improve the employee experience. Elevate opportunities for global consistency / leverage.
o Develop and implement programs and tools that will elevate the workforce experience across the region and positively impact employee engagement, performance, and retention. Examples could include: L&D offerings, locally relevant employee incentives and perks, DEI strategies/programming, etc.
o Act as Sexual Harassment Prevention Officer for Israel office ensuring labor compliance in line with local requirements.
- Drive global initiatives
o Take a global perspective in reviewing HR processes/programs/offerings, identifying opportunities, and creating process maps and solutions to address needs.
o Participate in global HR cross-functional projects.

For this role, you are/have:
- 8+ years of HR leadership experience in both regional and global environments.
- A strategic HR leader with proven ability to lead and influence multiple business stakeholders across different cultures and jurisdictions.
- Well-versed in HR business processes, HR standard operating procedures, and labor compliance/policy protocols, with experience standardizing, implementing and evaluating HR services and programs at a global and regional level.
- Strong business acumen with excellent transformation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills both onsite and remotely.
- Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Skilled communicator across all levels of the organization with the ability to flex and adapt with business needs.
- Familiar working in a “roll up your sleeves” environment that is rapidly scaling globally.
- Strong people management skills coupled with empathy and coaching skills.
- Ability to multi-task; a high attention to detail.
- Enjoys working in a dynamic and agile work environment.
- Skilled with modern HR solutions and services, digitally savvy, and able to apply insights from HR data & analytics into practice.
- Successful track record of delivering HR goals on a regional and global level.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
- Familiar with the global landscape and requirements of a public company.

About HR People Services Team
The newly created HR People Services global team will deliver:
• Strategy: Formulate the overall strategy for the HR People Services model at a global level to ensure that the organization benefits from greater structural flexibility, improved organizational learning, and better utilization of managers' and employees' time to re-position the contribution of HR as a business-driven function, focused on its strategic role in facilitating and supporting organizational change.
• Transformation Plan: Develop a strategic and implementation plan that ensures the transformation of HR activities to the HR People Services model, including greater HR focus on strategy, shared knowledge, and systems, elimination of duplication of efforts, and improving quality of service to employees and people managers.
• Policy Implementation: Ensure all HR policies and procedures are implemented consistently across the region, in compliance with both global standards and local regulations.
• HR Services: Manage day-to-day HR tasks such as processing leave requests, benefits-related HR tasks, and maintaining employee records.
• Query Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries from employees and people managers, providing timely and accurate HR solutions and services.
• Reporting and Analytics: Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. This includes workforce analytics, turnover rates, and employee satisfaction metrics in conjunction with the HR Ops team’s support.
• Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, handling probation management, and managing the exit process for departing employees, ensuring a smooth transition during the employee lifecycle.
• Collect employees’ HR queries to be used for a digital HR portal in the future for self-service.
• Learning and Development Support: In close coordination with the HRBP team or global L&D team, implement training programs and professional development opportunities for employees within the region based on needs (this can vary depending on the region).
Designed to serve all employees within a specific geographical region:
• Provide localized support that understands the unique cultural, legal, and business context of each region while maintaining global HR standards and practices.
• Divide into the following key regions: Americas, Asia-Pacific, China, EMEA, and Israel.
• Equip to handle the specific needs and challenges of their region, ensuring more personalized and responsive HR services.
