What you’ll be spending your time on:
We are seeking an experienced Product Design Manager to lead and inspire a team of talented designers to create user-centered, innovative, and scalable product experiences. As the Product Design Manager, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other
stakeholders to ensure our products align with business goals and deliver exceptional value to our users. You will also work alongside other design managers to build and execute our design vision, which will empower the entire design organization to become an industry leader.
What you will do
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of product designers.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes creativity and continuous improvement.
Design Strategy:
- Develop and implement a clear vision and strategy for product design that aligns with the company’s mission and objectives.
- Advocate for user-centric design principles across the organization.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Support, to deliver cohesive and impactful user experiences.
- Communicate design concepts, rationale, and decisions effectively to stakeholders and executives.
Design Execution:
- Oversee the end-to-end design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and final delivery.
- Ensure the design team produces high-quality deliverables that meet usability, accessibility, and brand standards.
Have you done this kind of stuff?
- 5+ years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage strategic, large-scale projects and transformations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
- Experience with financial products – a plus.
