Role Summary
To achieve our mission to enable remote employment globally, we need to build a world-class product experience backed by our core Payments platform that is seamless, convenient, and reliable for our customers. We face new and exciting challenges every day and need your help to solve them. The Company Secretary Intern will help with the corporate compliance charter for Skuad group entities across the globe (SEA/EMEA/LATAM) including advice on compliance matters as per extant local corporate laws, maintaining corporate records, statutory filings, drafting of corporate documents, audit, administering and resolving secretarial issues. The person will also work on establishing and maintaining organisational corporate governance practices, standards, and processes.

What you’ll do -

  • Provide support to the group corporate secretary in managing other entities and international expansion activities.
  • Provide company secretarial guidance and support to members of the board of directors of the entities supported.
  • Review and manage secretarial compliances, vi,z the Companies Act and relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide support and Guidance to the Board, Board Committees, and Independent directors on Compliance with the Companies Act and relevant laws and regulations
  • File all necessary documents and reports as mandated by law
  • Review all agreements and document compliance under various agreements to understand and monitor shareholder and corporate obligations/compliance
  • Interface with internal and statutory auditors, cost auditors, and other key external stakeholders in connection with compliance with the Companies Act
  • Create and manage data rooms for the diligence process, including access rights, and coordinate with internal teams to provide the required documents to investors
  • Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and take appropriate action
