Role summary
We’re seeking a proactive problem solver with a business, analytical, and technical mindset, who is passionate about designing and improving processes, supporting the scale of new products, while managing day to day operations.
As an addition to Checkout Business Operations Team based in Shanghai, you will design, implement, and manage core business and operational processes related to our Checkout business in the region. The Checkout Business Operations Associate is a hands-on role that will work cross functionally across the program with a focus on building and managing scalable solutions for a growing unit.

What you’ll do
- Business Analytics:
- Leverage and develop data analytical strategies to monitor, report, forecast and optimize China Checkout business growth process.
- Provide data-driven solutions to support the team in reaching strategic decisions.
- Strategic Initiative: Utilize experiences with the local GTM markets and business analysis to support key milestone program from headquarter with respective strategic stakeholders on the process of project discovery, design, follow-up, implementation and adoption.
- Daily Business Operation: Work cross functionally to manage day-to-day operations including leading incident management, and coordinating HQ and local market on internal process & policy change, product roadmap update, and conducting training in the region and supporting product servicing, sales operations
- Process Improvement: Involve in optimization project of Checkout merchant lifecycle management strategy, participate operational processes for merchant acquisition in the region to identify inefficiencies and opportunities to optimize and reduce time, effort, and costs
Who you are
- BA Degree or equivalent, MBA is a plus
- At least 3 years’ work experience in business operations, consulting, or analyst role
- Payment experience a plus.
- Exceptional written, presentation, and verbal communication in English and Mandarin
- Strong data analysis skills and data driven mindset, skills with MS Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally with different stakeholders at different levels.
- Passionate for entrepreneurship, self-motivated, self-disciplined, problem solving, results and detail-oriented to support regional Checkout business to grow through current business expansion and to expand with new initiatives.
