Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will:

  • Oversee accounting and financial review of the full GL of Payoneer India’s Payment Aggregator – Cross Border (PA-CB) licensed entity, as prepared by the local accounting outsourced vendor
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulatory requirements for regulated operations (under PA-CB license by the RBI), including, but not limited to;
    • Carrying out cash management controls by working with relevant finance/Treasury teams to prepare daily reports, update the cash management file, and send confirmation at the end of each day.
    • Familiarise with finance-related regulatory requirements, keeping controls, policies and procedures up to date in accordance with regulatory changes.
    • Prepare and/or assist with regulatory reporting in India, reconciling opening-closing balances and transactions, and exchange rates, ensuring reports are submitted to regulators in a timely manner.
    • Work with relevant teams to design and implement fund flows to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including ensuring that money transmissions are completed within the timeline as required by the regulations and books/records are updated
  • Collaborate with global teams to form statutory budgets and project cash flows for license requirements
  • Ensure timely submission of forms and periodical reports to authorities
  • Review vendor payments and maintain the execution of AP processes of the entity
  • As the financial responsible person for Payoneer’s licensed entity in India, to liaise with authorities related to statutory financial reporting, tax and matters related to it
  • Drive period closing activities, including the preparation of reporting packages containing an analysis of balance fluctuations against business activities
  • Oversee internal and outsourced bookkeeping and payroll teams serving the entity
  • Support audits of local annual financial statements, partnering with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Execute internal control over financial reporting activities and maintain appropriate documentation

Who are you -

  • Bachelor’s degree (post-graduate degree a plus), with a minimum of 8 years of proven working experience in finance/accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in regulatory reporting, financial compliance or finance regulation within the fintech or financial services sector
  • Experience in financial technology, banking and/or financial institutions is an added advantage
  • Entrepreneurial drive, strong business mindset, and able to work with minimal guidance
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in written and spoken English, capable of working closely with various members of management and operational teams across the organisation and the globe
