Description

We’re hiring multiple Sales Development Representatives (SDR) who will be responsible for researching, identifying, and prospecting into large enterprise accounts with the main goal of setting discovery calls for our Account Executive Team. As a SDR, your role is key at PlainID because it directly impacts our sales pipeline and the success of the organization in achieving our goals. As an SDR, you will generate and transfer quality leads through various avenues of prospecting with a focus on cold calling decision-makers in verticals like banking, healthcare, and insurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve/exceed monthly metrics (ex: qualified meetings scheduled/ delivered)
  • Respond to inbound marketing generated leads
  • Successfully manage and overcome objections
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop account intelligence, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct account engagement and insight tools
  • Contact (phone, email & social media) prospects to engage in conversations designed to create awareness of PlainID, educate prospects and uncover sales opportunities
  • Gain commitment from prospects to attend brief web-based product demo/meeting, meet with an Account Executive or other call to action
  • Collaborate with SDR team members to share best practices, improve individual and group performance and meet/exceed goals
  • Manage and utilize CRM and sales prospecting tools (i.e SFDC, Salesloft, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)

Requirements

  • Sales development or related experience in a business to business environment, or equivalent coursework in University with a B.A in Business, communications, or Marketing but not required
  • Proven track record of success in cold calling, deal qualification and goal achievement preferred
  • Strong web and computer skills: Google Apps,, Salesforce.com desirable
  • A strong desire to be in a highly dynamic, energetic and results-oriented sales environment with an early-stage start-up company
  • Fun and engaging personality with a willingness to take direction, be coached and mentored
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, enthusiastic, competitive, disciplined, self-motivated, hands-on, with a strong work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills especially the ability to speak clearly and concisely – in-person and on the phone – with a professional and engaging demeanor
  • Exhibit empathy, a knack for conflict resolution, persuasion and negotiating skills
  • Disciplined, meticulous approach to daily activity planning, goal setting and achieving results
  • Excellent listener, ability to learn and adapt to new concepts and technologies

  • Prior cyber security or identity/ authorization experience
  • Worked in a fast pace remote environment

Location: Remote - United States

Reports to the Director of Sales Development

Base annual salary - $55,000- $65,000
