PlainID, a leading startup, is seeking a principal engineer to join our growing team to enable the system increase scale of new features and technologies challenges. Our solution is based on Java, Go, and React, moving to SaaS with multi-tenancy based on microservices architecture. We are working in Agile with TDD/BDD and extreme programming processes to complete the end-to-end lifecycle of CI/CD. What will you do? What is expected from you to be?

• Production owner - raising the non-functional requirements for production maintenance, troubleshooting and smooth deployments
• Java and GO Guru with coding hands-on ability
• Working with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment, industry standards tools for performance and high scale systems
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Frontend and Backend Developers, and QA Engineers

• Ability to write high-performance, maintainable, reusable code
• Proven ability to investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensure production system stability, and implement optimization solutions that maintain high availability in distributed environments
• Hands-on Optimization & Incident Resolution
• Experience in Cloud multi-tenancy systems on AWS and GCP
• Proficient with Unix/Linux environment
• At least 7 years of experience in Java/Go solutions with software infrastructure and design patterns
• Experience of more than 5 years with Spring Boot
• Experience of more than 3 years with PostgreSQL
• Experience of more than 5 years with Microservices, Docker/Containers, Kubernetes
• Master/Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering
• Advantage - Background in Authorization and Authentication processes
• Advantage - Deep understanding of the Cyber Security domain
