Description
PlainID, a leading start up in Identity, Authorization & Security is seeking a VP Marketing to lead PlainID’s global marketing strategy and execution. This is a key role responsible for driving brand awareness, demand generation, product positioning, and overall market impact in the rapidly evolving identity and security ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute PlainID’s global marketing strategy to support business growth and revenue goals.
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing organization spanning demand generation, product marketing, digital, brand, and communications.
- Strengthen PlainID’s positioning as the Authorization category leader
- Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to align go-to-market strategies and accelerate pipeline creation.
- Oversee brand storytelling, messaging, and thought-leadership initiatives — including events, PR, analyst relations, and social media.
- Manage marketing budgets, KPIs, and performance analytics to ensure data-driven decision-making and measurable ROI.
- Drive collaboration with partners and alliances to expand ecosystem presence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of B2B marketing leadership experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (VP/SVP/Head of Marketing).
- Proven success leading marketing for a SaaS or cybersecurity start-up.
- Deep experience in demand generation, brand building, and product marketing for enterprise technology.
- Experience with AI tools
- Proactive, hands-on and ‘can-do’ approach
- Strong analytical mindset combined with creativity and storytelling ability.
- Communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA – advantage).
