What are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong technical orientation and a passion for data-driven problem solving. In this role, you’ll partner closely with our Data Science team to define and deliver cutting-edge data capabilities for new products. You’ll serve as the bridge between data scientists and external stakeholders—ensuring solutions align with real-world user needs and meet product requirements.
Why This Role Matters
- Core Data Impact: You’ll define how advanced data capabilities shape our new and existing products, influencing the technical direction and value proposition of our offerings.
- Strategic Collaboration: By working directly with data scientists, you’ll help convert complex research findings into product features that solve real-world business challenges.
- High Ownership & Visibility: Your insights will drive key decisions and shape our company’s trajectory in pioneering innovative insurance solutions.
What will you do?
- Own Data Science Capabilities: Oversee and prioritize the development of new data features and models, from concept through implementation. Collaborate with data scientists to set clear success metrics for each capability.
- Translate Needs into Requirements: Act as the point person between data science and the “outside world,” collecting insights on market and user requirements, then refining them into actionable product definitions and success criteria.
- Hands-On Collaboration: Work side-by-side with data scientists to conduct error analyses, identify technical bottlenecks, and propose solutions—continuously iterating on data outputs to ensure real-world applicability.
- Strategic Alignment: Coordinate with R&D leaders, go-to-market teams, and other stakeholders to balance technical feasibility with product timelines, ensuring data science deliverables match broader business goals.
- Problem Solving & Innovation: Brainstorm and conceptualize new data-driven solutions, guiding research and development efforts to expand our capabilities in ways that resonate with user needs.
- KPI Management: Own and track key performance indicators, primarily the on-time, requirements-aligned delivery of new data science capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of hands-on Product Management experience, or supplementary experience in data science positions, ideally with data-centric or advanced analytics products (potential good fit for data scientists transitioning into product management)
- Technical Savvy & Collaboration Skills: Proven track record of working closely with data scientists, analyst and software developers or AI/ML teams.
- Strong Data Orientation: Comfortable performing error analyses and understanding model outputs; familiarity with GenAI technologies is a major plus.
- Excellent Communication (English & Hebrew): Capable of presenting complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ownership & Accountability: Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives and drive them to completion with minimal oversight.
- Process Management: Skilled at structuring chaotic or research-heavy workflows into clear, trackable processes.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience with insurance or financial products is beneficial but not mandatory.
