Posted on Oct 18, 2025
QuamCore is tackling quantum computing’s hardest challenge: scaling millions of superconducting qubits in one cryostat by embedding ultra-low-power logic right next to the qubits. Join us at the intersection of RF engineering, quantum physics, and cryogenics, and help define the future of scalable quantum hardware.
The Role
You’ll bring RFIC instincts to a new frontier – designing qubits, resonators, logic and interconnect structures that must work at MHz-THz frequencies and 10 mK. Expect fast simulation–fabrication loops, plenty of EM puzzles, and hardware that ships straight into dilution fridges.
What you will Tackle
- Layout multi-layer superconducting circuits (qubits, resonators, CPW/microstrip, Josephson junctions)
- Run and interpret EM and SPICE simulations. Optimize layouts for coherence, crosstalk, and scalable operation
- Co-design chip-to-package and collaborate with fabrication, cryo-measurement, and control-electronics teams to close the loop from design to data
What You Bring
- RFIC / microwave IC design & tape-out experience (CMOS, SiGe, III-V, or superconducting)
- MS/PhD in EE, Physics, or a related field – or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong EM and transmission-line skills; scripting for sweep/optimization
- A “20× learner” mindset – new tools, new physics, no problem
Why QuamCore
- Small team, huge impact – join us as we massively scale
- State-of-the-art cryogenic lab & fab
- Competitive salary and the chance to work at the forefront of quantum hardware
