Junior System Administrator

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior System Administrator to support and lead IT operations and infrastructure initiatives. This role involves managing various cloud applications, supporting users, and contributing to strategic IT projects across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support & Implementation
Assist in managing IT technology projects, including the implementation of new solutions, upgrades of existing systems, and automation of routine processes.
Cloud & Infrastructure Management
Administer and support a range of IT systems and network devices, including: OKTA, GCP, VMware, AWS, Synology, Azure, Google Workspace, Jenkins, Office 365, MDM, VPN, ZTNA, and others.
User Lifecycle Management
Oversee onboarding and offboarding procedures, provide end-user support, and resolve software and hardware issues.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure in both SaaS and on-premises environments – Required
- Proficiency with macOS and Windows – Required
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with: OKTA, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and VMware - Required
- Understanding of fundamental networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, VPN) - Required
- Hands-on experience with MDM platforms, including setup and policy configuration - Required
- Linux experience - Advantage
- GCP, AWS, Azure - Advantage
- Experience managing network and security infrastructure (Firewalls, Switches, APs), preferably Fortinet - Advantage
- Kandji, JumpCloud, Intune - Advantage
- Familiarity with automation platforms (Okta Workflows, Freshservice Workflows, etc.) - Advantage
- Basic scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell - Advantage
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Self-motivated with a desire to continuously learn
