Description

We're looking for a Product Manager to join our Consumer Cash Advance Product Team.

Job Description

Your role will involve developing and executing the end-to-end consumer-facing lending application across web and mobile platforms. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, develop roadmaps, and establish short, medium, and long-term objectives. To excel in this role, you should have a proven track record of leading significant Fintech projects and possess strong design and analytical skills. You'll work closely with our product strategy, design, technology, customer support, legal, and marketing teams worldwide to launch new product features and solutions efficiently. You'll be based out of our Tel-Aviv office and required to attend the office on mandatory days.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define product vision, roadmap, product features, one-pagers, instrumentation and delivery of Sorbet’s B2C solution
  • Define and communicate the product long and short term objectives, metrics and desired impact.
  • Define squad priorities and commitments on a sprint by sprint basis
  • Collaborate closely with designers to understand user journey, user research and create designs/flows for the consumer app.
  • Clearly articulate the 'Why' behind product decisions to all stakeholders, including legal, marketing, development, and risk teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams like marketing, analytics, legal, risk, and customer support to address various use cases within Sorbet app and its partner ecosystem.
  • Lead the development and launch of minimum-loveable-products (MLPs) and features that enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Ensure timely execution of all projects, meeting launch deadlines, and providing support for testing and post-launch analysis.
  • Design and implement A/B tests to continuously learn and optimize our products.
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance, including both "run the business" metrics and the performance of new features and experiments.
  • Oversee alpha and beta testing phases, as well as staggered product releases.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the consumer product, providing insights into what drives these metrics.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Fintech product development or consumer lending within a bank or a large financial institution.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager, specializing in delivering consumer-facing solutions.
  • Strong empathy for users, with a dedication to identifying and resolving their pain points.
  • A deep curiosity, demonstrated by your enthusiasm for diving into data and asking probing qualitative questions. You seek a profound understanding of how to meet users' needs effectively.
  • A disruptor's mentality, unafraid to tackle challenging problems and transform abstract ideas into concrete solutions. Make the intangible tangible.
  • Willingness and the judgment required to make difficult product prioritization decisions, coupled with the ability to learn rapidly from any mistakes made.
  • Experience in translating complex and confusing concepts and systems into simple, elegant, and understandable user experiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills within global team environments while also being able to act swiftly as a decision-maker when necessary.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Jira, Confluence, Figma, Metabase.
  • Familiarity with Mixpanel or any product analytics tool - is a plus.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with tools like Plaid (ACH Processing, Risk and Anti fraud tools), Experian (Credit Bureaus), Peach (Servicing Platform).
