As the Manager of Quality Engineering, you are the guardian of our product integrity and the architect of our testing future. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Program & Operations, you will lead a high-performing team to move beyond manual checks into a world of sophisticated, AI-driven automation. Your mission is to embed quality into the very fabric of our SDLC—shifting testing "left" and leveraging Generative AI to solve complex challenges at scale.
What You'll Do:
Architect the QE Future: You will design and implement a scalable, maintainable test automation framework that serves as the backbone of our software delivery.
Lead with Innovation: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, specifically focusing on Agentic AI-powered solutions and GenAI to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
Champion "Shift-Left": Partner with Development and Product teams to ensure testability is considered at the architectural level, catching issues before a single line of feature code is written.
Empower Your Team: Act as a hands-on mentor, conducting 1:1s, leading code reviews for automation scripts, and fostering the professional growth of your QE engineers.
Drive Technical Excellence: From functional and regression to performance and security testing, you will ensure our CI/CD pipelines are robust, and our releases are bulletproof.
Deliver Insights: Analyze test results and system architectures to provide stakeholders with clear quality metrics and actionable data that drive product improvements.
Who You Are:
A QE Veteran: You have 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, with a heavy emphasis on building automation frameworks from the ground up (using tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Pytest).
AI-Forward: You don't just know GenAI; you use it as a "second-nature" tool to generate tests, enhance scripts, and stay ahead of industry advancements.
A Skilled Coder: You possess strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or GO and are comfortable leading technical discussions and code reviews.
A Process Improver: You have a "Continuous Improvement" mindset. You aren't satisfied with the status quo and are always looking for ways to optimize CI/CD integrations and API testing.
An Inspiring Leader: You have a track record of managing technical teams, delegating effectively, and advocating for a culture of quality across an entire organization.
Technically Versatile: You are comfortable in modern environments, with experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based applications (AWS preferred), alongside a strong grasp of SQL.
