What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage all website projects from concept to execution, ensuring smooth implementation, timely progress, and necessary revisions to meet deadlines.
  • Design, update, and maintain web pages, landing pages, blog visuals, and social media assets while ensuring brand alignment.
  • Collaborate with members of the Marketing Team to develop visually engaging digital experiences including newsletters, digital ads, event collateral, and more for various initiatives.
  • Ensure brand consistency by adhering to established design elements and guidelines.
  • Act as the primary liaison with our off-site web developer to implement and refine web design and functionality.
  • Use HTML and CSS to make minor updates and improvements.
  • Optimize digital assets for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.
  • Proactively communicate with internal stakeholders, managing timelines and flagging potential challenges.
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve design, content, and website functionality issues.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2-5 years of experience in web or digital design.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for minor coding updates.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, WordPress, and Google Analytics.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Figma.
  • Excellent command of visual design capabilities, including composition, layout, information hierarchy, typography, and color discernment.
  • Understanding of UX/UI best practices.
  • Strong organizational / time / project management, and communication skills.
  • Flexible, positive, collaborative, action-oriented attitude and professional approach.
  • Knowledge of ADA compliance as it pertains to digital deliverables.
  • Mac literacy and proficiency with workflow tools such as Trello and Monday.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet pressing deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with an eye toward creative and innovative solutions.
  • Skilled at giving and receiving feedback in an effective and empathic manner.
  • Ability to successfully communicate and collaborate with local and remote team members.

**The pay range for this position in New York is $60,000 – $75,000
